Cup 2007
This year the Challenge Cup, as agreed at the 2006 AGM, has
taken on a new format. The second round and quarter finals were held on a regionalised basis, with four groups of four teams
each playing off on the same evening with the winners advancing
to the normal semi-final and Final night.
Northumberland Group (at Whitley Bay Conservative Club):
Qualifiers were Morpeth Harriers
Newcastle Group (at the Key Club): Qualifiers were Byker PTE
Gateshead/Sunderland Group (at Philadelphia Cricket Club) :
Qualifiers were Mount Pleasant
Durham Group (at Leeholme Club): Qualifiers were Britannia Inn.
