The
North East Sports Quiz League is celebrating the 30th
anniversary of its inaugural season.
To
commemorate this anniversary a celebration event was held on
Thursday, 26th May 2005, at the Byker PTE Club in
Newcastle.
Events
included a Sports Quiz, a raffle and a buffet.
The
event was hosted by the Chairman, Bill Stothard, and Paul Davison of
Byker PTE set the quiz.
Amongst
former competitors of the quiz league who attended were Jackie
Thomas and former singles champions Ian Smith and Ben Waite.
