KO Cup 2008
All teams in the League are eligible to enter this handicap
competition.
The 2008 competition was held as
part of Finals night, at Byker PTE club on Thursday May 15th.
The competition is a table quiz, and
the quiz was set by Stephen Westerby of East End Nomads. Many
thanks, Stephen.
And it was Saltwells team of Kevin
Turner, Bryan White, Steve Lakey and Jimmy Peden who emerged
victorious with the second best score of the night, 36 out of 50,
added to their handicap of 11, making a winning total of 47 points.
This was two better than their nearest rivals Byker PTE and Morpeth
Harriers.
